Weight Loss Pancake Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 150ml milk
- Berries and full fat yogurt
- 50g of organic self-raising flour
- 50g of wholemeal flour
Not having oil, salt, added sugar or plain white flower in your ingredients makes this pancake batter a lot healthier. Making small adjustments and alternatives can make your favourite meals suitable for weight loss. These pancakes have more than 2 thirds less calories than usual pancake batter, not including the added calories from unhealthy toppings.
Method
- Get a sieve and sift all your flower into a large mixing bowl. Add the egg yolk, a splash of milk and mix. Slowly add the rest of the milk to get a smooth batter.
- Whisk the remaining egg whites until stiff, fold them carefully into a fluffy bater.
- Use a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour in 1 portion of batter. You should be able to make 8-10 pancakes with the measurements.
- Serve with some full fat yogurt and berries or your own healthy topping of choice.
